Scholarship Policy

The Ely Blue Line recognizes the cost of playing hockey can sometimes be cumbersome to some families. A Scholarship fund has been set up to help offset that cost.

Policy Guidelines and Process:

• Families interested must submit their completed Scholarship Application before November 30th of the current season

• The Executive Committee will review, in anonymity , ALL the submitted applications and award funds up to but not exceeding $2000 (in totality, between ALL submissions). If, in the unlikely situation, the request totals are over the allotted fund, the Ely Blue Line Board will review options.

• Once the scholarship has been awarded to each family, the Registrar, Treasurer and family will work together to submit payments/credits accordingly.
