Welcome to the 50th season of the Ely Blue Line Club (EBLC)! Please see below for information regarding registration for the 2026-2027 season. We are excited to get back on the ice!
Early bird registration (10% off) closes September 9th, 2026. Registration closes October 1st.
Step 1 of 2: All new and returning players must register with USA Hockey before continuing with EBLC registration.

Additional Information
- Early bird discount ends Sept 9, 2026. Registration closes Oct 1, 2026 to ensure personalized jerseys available for start of season.
- First year hockey players receive FREE registration, but USA hockey registration is separate. There is also a separate jersey fee.
- Learn to Skate participants only have to register with USA hockey. There is no Learn to Skate program fee. Helmets can be provided by the EBLC to borrow during the sessions.
Financial Hardship
If you have or know of a child that is unable to play hockey due to financial hardships, please reach out to the board of directors. We want all children to have a chance to play hockey this season.
Gear Rental
*NEW* Gear rental is free this year. We have limited equipment for squirts and above, but will do our best to provide gear for anyone that would like to borrow instead of buy.
Goalie equipment is provided at the mite level by the EBLC.
Goalies
*NEW* Any goalie, squirt aged and above, that plays more than 40% in net during the season, can receive 50% registration reimbursement at the end of the season.
Squirt aged and above goalies must provide their own gear.
Volunteer Requirements
*NEW* Each family is required to volunteer a maximum of 25 hours. There are no longer mandatory shifts.
The specific amount of volunteer hours will be based on total registration numbers and will be updated before the season starts. MORE PLAYERS = LESS VOLUNTEER HOURS FOR ALL.
Each team is required to run their own home games (time clock, penalty boxes, announcer/gamesheet), which do not count towards volunteer hours.
Each team hosting a Howler Tournament/Jamboree is responsible for running time clock & announcer/gamesheet for the entire tournament. As above, this does not count towards volunteer hours.
Fundraising Requirements
Each family is required to raise $400 each season. A minimum of $100 of the $400 requirement must be in raffle tickets.
Specifics on fundraising options will be provided at the parent meeting.
JERSEYS
Jersey fee: $100
Includes personalized home and away jersey.
Jerseys can be reused each season if they still fit. If two players have the same number, the younger player will need to purchase a new jersey set.
Game socks can be purchased through EBLC or separately.
