Mini-Mite Howler Jamboree

Join us at the end of the road for an exciting weekend of hockey! Games will be both in the Ely Ice Arena and Babbitt's Ron Castellano Ice Arena. Our Mini-Mite (M1/U6) Jamboree started in 2016 and is held annually with the Mite Jamboree. It also overlaps with the 10-day Ely Winter Festival full of ice sculptures in the park, art walks, food trucks, and outdoor skating.

• Reduced ice at half ice (center line), divided by boards

• 2 periods of 24 minutes, 2 minute rest between periods, 2 minute warm up

• Line changes every 2 minutes at horn. Face off at line changes only

• Scoring team MUST “tag up” to at least center ice after goals

• Shared benches

• A coach from each team will serve as “Referee” on ice (skating)

• If a player has ill-mannered play, the coach will redirect player off ice

• No designated goalies, must be rotated in on each line change

• Home team listed wears light jersey, away team wears dark jersey
